Inga Bodnarjuka (1983)
Freelance culture manager, based in Riga, Latvia, working with national and international projects.Already for 10 years organizing the biggest international poetry festival “Poetry Days” in Latvia taking place annually for 2 weeks in September.
Since 2011 taking care also of Latvia representation and culture programin international book fairs (Leipzig, Frankfurt, London, Bologna, Gothenburg) as well as trying to develop translation tradition via bridge languages by organizing international translation workshopsfor the young literature translators generation.
2006 invited Russian speaking multimedia artist group ORBITA for the “Poetry Days”, got inspired by their interdisciplinaryapproach of poetry presentation andstarted to collaborate with them in several projects, until 2011 she officially joined the group as a full time project manager.
Since 2012 runs empowermentprogram for young people from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Russia dealing with topics like active citizenship, democratic values, critical thinking as well as burning topics for concrete region: borders, migration, energy, conflicts and media etc.
Besides the practical management works also as a lecturer for project management in frames of different national and international educational programs as well as non-formal education.
